Solstice v2: Minimalist, lightweight everyday backpack.

Meet your new favourite everyday carry bag. Leaning into their everyday positioning, Solstice v2 backpacks are lightweight, providing ultimate comfort when travelling between shoots, sightseeing, or travelling to your bucket list destinations. Designed to house larger gear, the Solstice v2 backpack cannot be converted into a day pack. With a minimal exterior, Solstice v2 is ideal for urban environments. Solstice v2 backpacks come in a 20L and 24L size, with access to your equipment being through the rear of the backpack, providing anti-theft protection in urban environments. The Solstice v2 also becomes your camera work bench, by moving the backpack to your front, for added ease of use.

These backpacks also have a hidden tracker pocket inside which is AirTag and Tile compatible, allowing you to always know where your kit is. Solstice v2 backpacks also have an integrated laptop compartment at the front, with the 20L able to hold a 14-inch laptop, and the 24L able to hold a 16.5-inch laptop.

What can each bag carry?

• 20L & 24L: 5-8 lenses, including a camera/lens combo up to 16.5 inches (42 cm) in length (Canon 200-800mm, Nikon 180-600mm, Sony 200-600mm). 1-2 mirrorless, DSLR or film cameras & all sizes of DJI Mavic & compact drones. 
• 24L: 7-9 lenses, including a camera/lens combo up to 18.5 inches (47 cm) in length (Canon 200-400mm, Nikon 180-600mm, Sony 200-600mm).

Solstice v2 Sling: Larger, more storage capability

Like the backpacks, the Solstice v2 slings are ultra-lightweight and ideal for larger loadouts, whilst providing the same level of comfort you’d expect from a backpack. Each sling can fit:

• 12L: Mirrorless or DSLR camera with 4-6 lenses, including a camera/lens combo up to 17 inches (43 cm) in length, plus a tablet up to 8 inches (iPad Mini). Also fits DJI Mavic & other compact drones. Fits lenses up to 390mm in length.
• 16L: Mirrorless or DSLR camera with 4-6 lenses, including a camera/lens combo up to 17 inches (43 cm) in length, plus a tablet up to 8 inches (iPad Mini). Also fits DJI Mavic & other compact drones. Fits lenses up to 420mm in length.

Alongside their capacity, the Solstice v2 slings have a hidden Bluetooth tracker pocket for an AirTag/Tile, side pockets which fit a tripod or a large water bottle, and repositionable lash straps like the Solstice v2 backpacks, which can secure a jacket or additional clothing layers for colder or rainy days.

Which should I choose?

If you want a combination of quick access and all-day comfort, choose the Solstice v2 sling. It’s the ideal combination for on-the-go days. If you prefer a backpack-style, with a larger capacity, go with the Solstice v2 backpack.
