Axis v2 Backpacks: Which bag is right for me?

Axis v2 Backpack: Technical, Tactical & Tough.

The Axis v2 Backpack has 3 points to access camera gear - through the side, top or rear of the bag. Use the Side Access for quick camera removal while wearing the bag, Top Access to work out of the bag within a small footprint, and Rear Access to get at all your gear at once - 20, 24 & 30L backpacks only, whereas the Axis v2 16L backpack has rear and top access to your kit.

Axis v2 backpacks have a front laptop compartment, whereas the Axis LT Backpack has a rear laptop compartment. Each size of Axis v2 Backpack can carry a laptop or tablet the size of portable computer, depending on the backpack’s size:

• 16L: Can fit an 11-inch tablet
• 18L: Can fit a 14-inch laptop
• 20L: Can fit a 14-inch laptop
• 24L: Can fit a 16-inch laptop
• 32L: Can fit a 17-inch laptop

Axis v2 backpacks can also fit large super-telephoto lenses from 150-600mm, allowing you to travel with the right equipment for your day-to-day. As well as this, the standard Axis v2 backpacks have a side gimbal pocket, front tripod straps and expandable molle webbing, allowing you to carry additional accessories, depending on the day’s demands. The Axis v2 Backpack has an Airflow harness, which combine 3D air mesh and Tenba’s Pivot FitTM auto-adjusting straps for a comfortable fit. If you value comfort while wearing, the Axis v2 utilises dual sternum straps which improve load balancing across the chest, for a comfortable wearing experience for both male and female wearers.

Road Warrior: The daily all-rounder.

The 16L Road Warrior is built for demanding daily usage. Like the other Axis v2 backpacks, the Road Warrior has a hidden neoprene sleeve, which is Bluetooth tracker compatible. This backpack is also full of additional storage elements, with a removable BYOB 9 Camera Insert for padded camera storage when you need it, as well as lots of other pockets to organise your gadgets, components and equipment neatly. The Road Warrior can also fit under an aeroplane seat, making it ideal for

international travel. Like other Axis v2 backpacks, the Road Warrior also has a front-facing padded compartment that can store a 16-inch laptop and a 12.9-inch tablet, ideal for on-the-go editing.

Axis v2 LT: The lightweight, everyday option.

As suggested by its name, the Axis v2 LT Backpack is the lightweight model in the Axis v2 collection. The Axis v2 LT shares all the features of standard Axis v2 backpacks but has a convertible day pack storage compartment under its flap, ideal for when you want to use the backpack to carry everyday items like a lightweight jacket or food or carry extra equipment (2 lenses + a drone kit). In the Axis v2 LT, camera equipment is accessible through two large side openings and a top flap, which can be used to access different types of equipment from the top or each side, depending on preference, allowing versatility in how you choose to use the backpack. It’s versatile, lightweight and ideal for everyday usage.

Like the Axis v2 Backpacks, the Axis v2 LT has a padded laptop compartment situated on its rear, with differing dimension storage capabilities, depending on backpack size:

• 18L: Can store a 14-inch laptop.
• 20L: Can store a 16-inch laptop.

Which backpack should I go with?
